To be fair, this was the 60s and Walker WAS better (Even though I think Bowie’s early material is kinda underrated)

New Scott Walker album now has a title and release date!
According to pitchfork and amazon and (somewhat more cryptically) 4AD, the album will be called Bish Bosch and will be coming out December 3rd. And, yes, that is December 3rd of this year.
It’s been about 6 years since The Drift and I know a lot of us might be struggling with the anticipation, but just breathe slow and we’ll make it though these next few months together!

Scott Walker working on new album for 4AD and an opera score
New 2012-related things that the Scott Walkers will not have in common:
- A possible new album.
- An increasingly inevitable recall election.
Not every Scott Walker can be Scott Walker, but I guess that’s old news. Album news is now somewhat more official and so that makes it new news again in my book, or maybe it’s just that some news never gets old. In any case, hope this helps brighten everyone’s December - some new darkness on the horizon!
